Grenada Tourism Authority: Mount Cinnamon Beach Resort

Perched above the beautiful, world-renowned Grand Anse Beach of Grenada, Mount Cinnamon Beach Resort is committed to the environmental sustainability of the Caribbean’s ‘Spice Isle’ and just went through a massive renovation to highlight more of its natural allure. This boutique eco-lux resort with 36 hillside suites and villas, three pools and two restaurants, limits their carbon footprint by reducing water, energy and waste, and organizes coastal clean-ups, social projects, donations and student involvement in environmental fieldwork, all in accordance with their world-renowned Sustainability Management Plan. As a pledge to maintain its social governance practices, the resort was the first in the Caribbean to join the Travel & Leisure sector of the United Nations Global Compact Network and recently earned their Ten-Year Platinum Status with Green Globe. Now reopened after renovations, couples, families and friends can enjoy soft updates to the Hacienda Suites and Villas, as well as new culinary offerings focused on locally sourced ingredients and regional cuisine. From Caribbean-inspired, farm-to-table dishes at The Flying Fish, to sips and snacks at the Beach Cabana, the resort harvests their freshest produce and ingredients on property to craft their seasonal menus and eclectic island taste.
