Inigo Communications Fall 2021 Final Showcase recording

Inigo Communications Fall 2021 Final Showcase

At the end of the Fall 2021 semester, I was asked to produce our Final Showcase livestream. What used to be just a basic, recorded Zoom presentation, turned into a truly professional production with lights, cameras and a lot of action!

I went beyond the mere computer webcam and microphone, plugging in a DSRL and shotgun microphone to my laptop for a higher quality image and sound. This equipment was then paired with an LED light in the front and a color effected light against a black backdrop in the back to symbolize the rejuvenated spark this show represented in the midst of a long, dark pandemic.

Inigo Communications Spring 2022 Final Showcase

The Fall 2021 showcase was a hit and I was asked to produce it again as Creative Director for the Spring 2022 Final Showcase. I brought on the incoming Creative Director for the Fall to pass down my skills and make this a routine practice for the agency.

We challenged ourselves to make it even better. This time, we upgraded the camera from a Canon t7i to a Canon EOS R5, which gave us 4K capabilities. A white backdrop instead of a black one also produced a brighter feel for the show.

Now leading the agency from the top as Firm Director for the Fall of 2022, we couldn’t imagine producing the showcase in any lesser way.

We upgraded the camera once again to a Blackmagic 6K Pro and brought on Creative Copywriting Director Jacqueline Southwell to help us with color correction and cinematography.

Creative Design Director Matt Reishus also helped us step up our lighting. He positioned what would be our key light as a fill light to the right of our podium, and then used a ring light as the key.

Break Room TV GIFs for United Airlines

Inigo Coordinators under the wing at O’Hare International Airport

Fall 2021 – As a Creative Coordinator for Inigo Communications, I designed and animated five GIFs for United Airline’s Department of Safety and Compliance to display in their employee break rooms. These GIFs model correct safety practices while also showing how much United cares about their employees and their safety.

To make these GIFs accurately, United invited us to get a taste of their operations first-hand at O’Hare International Airport. I collaborated with PR/Media Coordinator Allison Lyon to brainstorm ideas and align on what message each GIF would convey. She wrote the on-screen copy and I took care of the visuals.

Each gif was designed with Adobe Illustrator and animated with a combination of stop-motion on Adobe Photoshop as well as key-framing on Adobe Premiere Pro.

United loved the motion graphics and asked to continue the project under my leadership as Creative Director for the Spring of 2022.
