Bienvenidos a Pilsen
Description: Pilsen is known for being a port of entry for thousands of immigrants. From its businesses, to its murals and alleys, a diverse and artistic culture thrives in the neighborhood… even in the midst of a global pandemic.
This story was told in collaboration with Small Town Chicago, a student media group I co-founded in the fall of 2019 aiming to showcase Chicago’s 77 neighborhoods in a new, more positive light. Find out more about Pilsen and other neighborhoods here!
